Thanks so much for all of your report of seeing or not seeing snow. I appreciate it!
Cold start to the day today with lots of temps in the 20s. We should see lots of sunshine through the day with highs in the 40s.
Our big storm system this week continues to take shape on the modeling. As it looks now, some rain is possible Tuesday, then rain and some storm look possible Wednesday. We will have to watch for severe weather potential. Then, the models remain all over the place with the handling of the last piece of energy with the trough Thursday.
Some modeling continues to indicate the chance of at least a bit of snow on the backside of the system, while some does not. No need to get excited or disappointed at this point.
Everyone have a great Sunday!

Hey Matthew, The GFS has really been pretty consistent with our big snow event this Thursday. The Weather Channel, Accuweather, and the NWS are all calling for 49 degrees and rain on Thursday. Do you think they will start to pick up on the snow idea?
Matthew,
(for anonymous)
I have a question-where are you going to look at the GFS being consistent with the snow event!im pretty sure it is consistent but i would like to see what it looks like! please answer back. Matthew whats your opinion?
Thanks,
Brian
What is the chance of a White Christmas here in Charlotte this year?
I can't speak for other forecast outlets....every met looks at every weather situation a bit differently.
JWM, see my weather links on the right of the main page of the blog...I have most of the model data linked there.
Whew, overall white Christmas chances are obviously statistically low. Frankly, I have not looked much that far out due to this week's system.
