Some fantastic Spring weather is on the way over the next several days, and then our next big system arrives Monday into Tuesday next week followed by a push of cooler air. Today's video has all of the details:
As an upper level trough moves overhead today, some afternoon showers and storms will likely develop around portions of the Carolinas. Due to the very cold air aloft associated with the upper air trough, some small hail will be a possibility in a couple of places.
After the trough departs later today, fantastic weather is then on the way until our next system rolls in later Monday into early Tuesday.

Our storm system, which delivered lots of rain all across the Southeast, is departing the region. In the wake of it, and overall very nice forecast is on tap. Here's today's video:
We will have rain at times today across the Carolinas. Around the Charlotte and Triad areas, look for lots of rain this morning, but there could be some breaks in the rain at times this afternoon into early this evening.
As a wedge of cool air slowly erodes, some thunderstorms will become possible with time. These will be most likely in the eastern halves of the Carolinas, but when the actual cold front arrives late this evening, anybody is fair game for a passing storm.
