Scattered showers and storms.... again... some weekend changes...

A soupy airmass remains in place, and again today and tomorrow, I expect a pretty good coverage of showers and storms around the region.

A cold front will slip through NC and into SC by Saturday. Behind that front, some slightly drier air will take hold across a good portion of NC, and the result will be lower humidity and reduced rain chances this weekend in parts of NC, especially I-40 and points north.

We are in a soupy airmass this week across the region with daily chances of some scattered showers and storms. The coverage of showers and storms on a daily basis will depend primarily on small-scale disturbances, but overall, the best chances of more widespread showers and storms looks to be Wednesday and Thursday afternoon and evening.
