Warm and breezy today....

Parts of the region had some very electric thunderstorms move through last night. In fact, many folks were awakened by the sound of near continuous thunder around the Charlotte metro region and elsewhere as well.

That disturbance is exiting, and a warm, breezy day is on tap today. Look for highs to top our near 70 or so in many Piedmont locations this afternoon with southwest winds gusting to 25 or 30mph at times.

A big storm system cranks to our west tomorrow and will arrive Friday. I discuss that as well as colder temps and potential storm systems next week in today's video...
