Showers this morning...chilly tonight

Above is today's edition of the Carolina Weather Video.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. In the East household, we had a busy weekend, but a good weekend spent with family and lots of activities.

Rain was here to greet us on this Monday morning, and some of the pockets of rain were locally heavy. It looks like the rain chances will greatly diminish after lunchtime today, but a good deal of clouds could stick with us all day.

Most of us have seen our high temps already, and many locations will see temps hovering in the upper 50s to lower 60s for much of the day.

The sky will clear out tonight, and a chilly night will unfold. Most lows will be in the mid to upper 40s tomorrow morning!

Fantastic weather is on tap for tomorrow and Wednesday with highs in the 70s, lots of sun, and low humidity values....good weather to open up the windows.

However, we return to a warmer, muggier pattern by late in the work week, and I will again mention the chance of some mainly afternoon showers and storms beginning Thursday and lasting through the weekend.
