Scattered showers and storms...
>> Friday, May 15, 2009
Above is today's edition of the Carolina Weather Video.
First of all, we watched the Season 5 finale of Lost last night. Wow! I will not spoil it for anyone who might not have seen it yet, but it was an amazing episode....just some great television.
All right, back on track here, we will see scattered showers and storms fire off this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon in our muggy airmass. Highs will warm into the lower 80s in most spots both days.
Our Sunday cold front has sped on a bit on this morning's modeling....about 6 hours or so. That means rain and some storms Saturday night into Sunday morning with some lingering showers possible through the remainder of Sunday. That timing would also mean cooler temps overall for Sunday....probably 60s for highs with temps possibly falling later in the day.
At this point, I have reverted back to a dry forecast for Monday. I despise flip-flopping on a forecast, but my hand is forced this morning. So, at this juncture, it looks like we will get to enjoy a nice, cooler airmass Monday and into much of next work week.
