Another nice one...

Above is today's edition of the Carolina Weather Video.

Some highs clouds will stream overhead at times today, but it will still be a nice day with highs in the mid 70s.

A significant severe weather outbreak is likely today from portions of the Midwest into the Plains states. See the video for more details on that as well.

The front that will help trigger the severe weather to our west today will get a little closer tomorrow as it gradually runs out of steam. Meanwhile, our airmass will continue to get muggier, and that will lead to a few afternoon showers and storms tomorrow.

Better chances for some afternoon showers and storms will be with us Friday and Saturday. Then, a pretty strong cold front will swing through Sunday and likely bring a widespread round of rain and storms.
