Getting warmer....

The nasty heat continues off to our west today. Yesterday, Audubon Park in New Orleans hit 102 and Mobile hit 101. Bear in mind these are places right along the Gulf coast.

Meanwhile, we will see lots of sunshine today with highs in the lower 90s for most Piedmont locations. Tomorrow we will again see lots of sun with highs in the low to even some mid 90s.

A weak cold front will drop in Friday and give us some scattered showers and storms, and then outside of an isolated PM storm chance, the weekend looks mainly dry with highs warming up into the mid 90s. So the heat will build a bit.

Next week, more of the same with highs in the lower 90s most days and just a small chance of a late day storm.
