Tuesday....

Another day of near-record heat today before some relief arrives. Most modeling is indicating temperatures aloft getting a tad cooler over the next few days, and in response to that, our high temperatures back down some.

Also, we continue to see a better chance for some afternoon showers and storms as the week unfolds. The best overall rain chances probably occur this weekend as a cold front eases in.

I will say that the European model keeps things a little hotter around here than the GFS for the rest of the week. So, while I do think some heat relief is coming, it might not be to the complete extent the GFS MOS numbers are showing.
