Warming trend into the weekend...

>> Thursday, November 08, 2012

First of all, a big 'thank you' to all of the great folks at News 14 for allowing me to take some time off to spend with my family after the birth of our daughter a couple of weeks ago. It is really appreciated.

On to the weather, a Nor'easter continues to pound the Northeast with snow, rain, wind, and storm surge.I document some of the impacts in today's video.

Around here, we are looking at a warming trend into the weekend. In fact, the weekend looks spectacular with sunshine and afternoon highs pushing into the lower 70s in many spots.

A sharp cold front will swing through around Tuesday followed by more chilly weather. See the video for lots of details.

Hi Matthew -
Congrats on your beautiful new daughter! I am curious to see what you will come up for your winter outlook. Lots of other mets seems to be saying we will pay back this winter from last winter with lots of snow and below avg. temp. If that is true, that will make Carolina snow fans happy! God bless, TK
