Rain chances rolling in...

Above is today's edition of the Carolina Weather Video.

It was a fun and active weekend in the East household. Like I mentioned in a previous post, my youngest daughter turned 2 last Thursday, and Saturday was my wife's birthday. Halloween was of course Friday night. So, lots of activities packed in over the weekend, and we had a good time.

Today, we are watching a coastal area of low pressure develop. We already have lots of clouds in place, and we will see rain chances developing in with time. A few showers are possible this afternoon and tonight, but the best rain chance will be during the day tomorrow.

The end of the work week will be mild with highs in the 70s, but then a sharp cold front will swing through around Friday night, and we will return to some chillier weather over the weekend into early next week.

I am still trying to get my mind wrapped around how things will unfold next week.

hey matthew,

im sure its a bit early to tell for sure, but ive noticed modeling leaning towards a more stormy pattern next week, and also a turn back to colder weather. do you consider we may have a shot at some wintry precip. at some point next week?
