Saturday evening....frost possible Monday morning....

>> Saturday, October 18, 2008

We did indeed see lots of clouds today....even some sprinkled in the Triad region....due to very cold temps aloft. The clouds will erode away this evening.

A chilly night will unfold tonight with lows dropping into the upper 30s to lower 40s. Full sunshine will return for our Sunday, but it will still be cool with highs only in the low to mid 60s.

It looks like things are setting up for our first widespread frost potential Sunday night into Monday morning....at this point, I am anticipating lows in the mid 30s. more info on this as Sunday unfolds.

Quiet weather will continue for much of the week with most highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. Another shot of cooler air will settle in for Wednesday.

I know we have barely scratched the surface of Fall, but is there any cahnces for snow (night) in the next couple of weeks?

If you are referring to the Piedmont, then no.....not yet! Hopefully we will see some this season though....
