Continued Tornado Threat...

Looks like there is a ton of helicity, or turning of the winds with height, out there this afternoon/ early evening. It looks like the showers and storms are having no problems beginning to rotate, and I expect the tornado threat to continue into this evening across much of the southern Piedmont. In fact, there is a chance we will see the SPC include more counties in a Tornado Watch.
