Wednesday Post...

Not much time today....I am the midday met for both the Triad and Charlotte markets today. I am speaking to the first graders at Highland Creek Elementary School in Charlotte early this afternoon, and then I am right back in here to work the early morning shift for the Triad market Thursday and Friday.

In terms of the weather, a wedge is settling in today and tonight. Look for much cooler temps with lots of clouds today. However, the wedge scours out tomorrow, and lots of warmth returns for the end of the week. I see no big chances for heavy rain or storms right through mid-week next week.

On the basketball front, Mississippi State took care of Florida State last night to advance to the NIT semi-finals in New York. I am very proud of the team. They are very young, and almost every player will be back next season. I am very excited about the possibilities for next year's team.
