Monday Evening...

Sorry for the lack of posts over the weekend. The weather was (and is) quiet, and time was a little short with some of my family in town.

Today, the entire East crew made the treck over to the Broad River Greenway. As we were sitting around the house this morning, I had the itch to get out and enjoy the day, and I wanted to go somewhere we had never been. So, after a little research....voila....Broad River Greenway was the destination.

We had a great time today eating a picnic lunch and letting the kids plan on the playground. Several picnic tables are located right beside the river, and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful.....really great. If you have a chance to head over to this great little place in Cleveland County, I recommend it.

Below are a couple of pictures of the Broad River this afternoon. You might be able to tell that the river is still a bit "churned up" due to the heavy rains Thursday night.
