Hi Matt,
It has been a long, hot and dry summer and next month we transition into fall. Do you foresee any pattern change with this hot and dry pattern we've had since June? Does fall and early winter looks dry as well from what you can see?
Tough to tell in the long-range, but one cause for hope is that often times, El Nino cold seasons can produce higher-than-normal precip totals, so we will see.
