I moved to Charlotte a few years ago from Chicago, where the wind only blows one direction....DOWN. But in Charlotte a lot of times, especially this week, the wind seems to blow every direction at once. What is the cause of this?? Wind in Charlotte is under-rated.

Yep, the more frequent breeziness is one of the first things I noticed when I moved here from Mississippi as well. When the winds are gusty, it can have more of a feel of more directions at once.
