Storm system headed in...

What incredible weekend weather! I think many folks officially have Spring fever now after that weekend. However, Spring is not here.....

A cold front is approaching, and that will spread some rain into the region. A few piedmont rain showers are possible this afternoon, but then the bulk of the rain will move through this evening and tonight. The time-frame will be a bit earlier for the mountains.

Not a huge rain event here....but many areas will likely see 0.50" or so.

A pretty good period of  chilly weather will then settle in behind this system for the Wednesday-Friday time frame. Highs and lows will be back below average at that point.

Yesterday's 12z run of the European popped a big Southeast storm system that resulted in a Carolina snow storm Monday-Tuesday of next week. The 0z run today still has the system, but not as intense, and most of the snow winds up to our north.

I take a look at all of this in today's video....
