Severe weather outbreak today to our northwest...

Another big-time severe weather outbreak is likely today from the Ozarks to the eastern Great Lakes. A large 'moderate' severe weather risk has been put out in that region.

I expect that by this evening, storms will quickly organize into a powerful line of storms....and I anticipate there being a lot of wind damage reports. In fact, I would not be surprised of a derecho were to occur.
