Charlotte went below freezing and broke a record this morning by dipping to 30. Many areas in the Piedmont were in the upper 20s. Matthew, does this mean that the growing season is over for those locations that went below freezing. Here in Anson County, parts of the county were in the upper 20's.
It was not a hard freeze, but in some spots, I imagine the growing season is over. However, some spots might have escaped it OK.
