Well, we had some heavy rain-producing storms move through the area this afternoon. Parts of Stanly County received close to 5 inches of rain in less than two hours! Things have settled down now, and aside from a passing shower being possible overnight, the night ahead looks quiet.

Again, we are heading out of town for the next few days. We will spending time with family out of state, so there will be no new blog posts until at least Thursday.
