Nice Airmass
>> Thursday, July 12, 2007
We are getting a nice July treat with low humidity values and cooler temperatures. In fact, the mountains and the Virginia border counties will drop into the 50s tonight. No complaints here!
Humidity values will remain low through Friday, but it gets muggier as the weekend unfolds. Some isolated storms appear possible Saturday, then Sunday and Monday will likely feature healthy chances for showers and storms.
We certainly have had our fair share of thunderstorms over the past several weeks. It is t-ball season again, and my 4 year-old has had two of their scheduled three practices axed due to nearby lightning. Tonight is the first game. Unfortunately, I was unable to be there to due work responsibilities, so I am expecting a play-by-play from my wife when I get home tonight!
