Wednesday Evening Video

>> Wednesday, October 24, 2007

For a while I have wanted to do some sort of weather video where I could more easily discuss with you some of the things I am looking at in the near term and at times in the long term. So, here is the result as of now....the first edition of East's Weather Video.

Please let me know your thoughts and opinions. And please let me know any problems you might have viewing the video. This is really the first trial run of all of the software involved.

In future videos, I will probably spend more time talking about overall pattern issues, and I will probably get much more in-depth, meteorologically speaking, with what is going on with our weather. Like I said...this edition is sort of just a trial run.

I love it! The weather enthusiast community will eat this up as part of our well balanced meteorological diet. I very much look forward to the winter settling in and your video blogs updating us to the next big Charlotte snowstorm.

I could see only one issue someone might have. It would pertain to the size of the viewer. It would be nice to have better clarity and detail when viewing the maps. But I'm not one to complain...just thankful that you are willing to take time out of your schedule to offer us a new perspective.

Thank You,

Well, thank you! I think it will be a lot of fun, and I hope we have some good winter events this year!

Thanks for the suggestion. I will work on getting the viewer a little more easy on the eyes. Doesn't do much good to do the video if you can't see what I am showing!

I agree, I really enjoy this and hope to see more of it in the future! Keep up the great work Matt!

Great job! I watch the video editions of the blogs on on a daily basis, and yours is every bit as detailed as theirs in explaining the weather pattern(s) and looking at the model runs. I look forward to seeing this on a regular basis.
