Here comes the chill....

>> Friday, October 17, 2008

We will continue to see areas of rain today and this evening as a cold front slides south of the region. Temperatures will fall through the afternoon hours as a chillier airmass arrives.

The rain will end tonight, and dry weather resumes tomorrow. However, it will be a chilly, blustery day with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s, lots of clouds, and a stiff north wind.....get some chili cooking!

Lows will drop down into the upper 30s to lower 40s Sunday and Monday morning, and I would not be surprised if some spots in the Piedmont saw the first frost of the season, likely on Monday morning.

Afternoon highs through next week will remain pretty comfortable....mainly in the 60s; 70s at most. Lows temps will remain in the 40s beginning Tuesday morning.
