Back at it....

Back in the saddle this morning after being away from the office for about a week. I got back home a bit after 8pm yesterday evening from some training up in our Raleigh News 14 back to a regular work routine for a while.

A cold front will interact with a moisture-laden airmass across the region and kick off some scattered showers and storms today into this evening. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 80s for most.

Drier air will work in here behind the cold front tomorrow, and that should mean any shower and storm chances will be confined closer to the coast. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90.

Lower 90s with lots of sunshine are on the way Saturday, then things get muggier again with scattered storm chances returning Sunday and lasting much of next week.

There is an area of low pressure off of the mid-Atlantic coast that will bring rainy, squally weather to the southern New England coast today and tonight, but the system will likely not be able to become a formal tropical system.
