Nice Fall Weather!...Tropical Issues....

>> Tuesday, September 23, 2008

Here if today's edition of the Tropical Weather it I discuss the area of low pressure developing near the Carolina coast as well as our tropical disturbance down in the Caribbean.

Fantastic weather will unfold today and tomorrow with highs in the 70s and lots of sun. It will be breezy both afternoons however, with northeast winds gusting to 20 or 30mph.

As the coastal low moves back westward, we will see rain chances arriving later Thursday and Friday. The clouds and rain will also keep temperatures down even more with highs likely in the 60s everywhere Friday. In fact, the 0z NAM printed out 59 for a high in the Triad Friday!

Still indications of a nice shot of colder air by mid to late week next week.

I discuss all of this in detail in the Carolina weather video below. Give it a look....
