Slap in the face this weekend...

We have a cold front moving through the region this evening. A few showers, and maybe a rumble of thunder or two, are possible as the front moves through. But the big weather story is the big change in temperatures for the weekend.

We will have a very strong wedge set up this weekend and last even into early Monday. Temperatures will probably struggle to make it up into the lower 50s in spots tomorrow, and most places will stay in the 40s all day Sunday. Add in a cloudy sky and brisk northeast winds, and I promise will feel very cold Sunday.

Next week's weather pattern is an interesting one if you like watching the weather. The weekend wedge should scour out by later Monday and we should warm up nicely Tuesday afternoon. Then, another cold front bring more shower chances later Tuesday and Tuesday night. Behind that cold front, another wedge will set up for Wednesday and Thursday, again bringing in cooler temps. And finally, another storm system looks to push through around Friday, and that one might bring some more showers and storms.
