Rain and storms today... great weather tomorrow through early next week...

Rain and storms are our forecast highlight today as a slow-moving storm system moves through the region. Multiple waves of rain and storms will move through our area today, and the rain totals will stack up. Look for widespread 1-2" amounts with some localized rain totals to 3" or 4" in a few areas. This could cause some flash flooding issues for some. 

We will also continue to monitor the severe weather potential today. Instability is lacking, but a few isolated tornadoes are possible as well as the threat of some damaging winds. 

Much quieter and extremely nice weather will be with us for tomorrow and the weekend.

Quite warm again today... rain and storms tomorrow... nice Friday through the weekend...

Highs today will remain quite warm, and again this afternoon, only a handful of isolated storms will try to fire. However, tomorrow and tomorrow night continue to look quite unsettled across the region.

Friday and the weekend continue to look very nice overall with highs in the 70s and good intervals of sun.
