As soon as you step out the door this morning, you will notice the difference in terms of how it feels out there. Dewpoints have dropped into the lower 50s, and many temps across the Piedmont have fallen into the 50s as well.

We are transitioning from our exceedingly muggy airmass to a much drier one. A few showers and storms are possible across southern NC today, but then a very pleasant June airmass will completely take over tomorrow into early next week.
