Hot and humid....
Summertime stuff over the next couple of days with highs in the 90s, muggy conditions, and a few mainly afternoon and evening storms. Like we have seen recently, a few storms could be severe, and since the upper level winds are so light, the storms will move slowly and produce locally heavy rain. However, I think many spots will remain dry today and tomorrow.
An approaching cold front will really ramp up the shower and storm chances Thursday and Friday, and then cooler temps will follow that front over the weekend as it stalls out over South Carolina. However, it appears some clouds and maybe some showers could linger as the weekend unfolds.
