Excellent weekend weather...

>> Friday, November 09, 2012

It's another frosty, cold morning across the region. However, highs today will rebound nicely....60s for most under a sunny sky.

The weekend will be great with lots of highs in the lower 70s with a continued sunny daytime sky.

A huge winter storm continues to unfold across the western US, and Blizzard Warnings are up in Montana as I type. The trough and cold front associated with that system will swing through here Monday night and Tuesday and bring some showers, however, at this point, the system does not look especially impressive for the eastern US.

Following that system, another shot of chilly air will settle in for the remainder of next week.

Around here, we are looking at a warming trend into the weekend. In fact, the weekend looks spectacular with sunshine and afternoon highs pushing into the lower 70s in many spots.

A sharp cold front will swing through around Tuesday followed by more chilly weather. See the video for lots of details.
