All right....here is today's video....second attempt was a success!

Looks like some snow showers have 'escaped' from the mountains.....see the radar shot below.

And, for those of you with an interest in astronomy, check this out this evening.

Thank you for still posting a video today... even after your wild monday morning! It is chilly here around hickory with strong winds.. also seeing dark clouds to my west... maybe sneak in a flurry or two.

Again thanks for your videos!!

hey matthew,
just noticed the new european run is once again showing a winter weather event saturday into sunday....keeps going back and forth, but it kinda makes you wonder since it keeps popping up now....don't really know what to think at this point, but it sure is interesting to watch. also still watching the modeling for mid to late week next week...looks interesting....we'll see. just want to say i appreciate everything you guys do. you all at news 14, in my opinion, have the best meteorologist team in the region and the fact that you all actually interact with your viewers makes it that much better. looking forward to your thoughts on the next week or so. thanks again.

Brian, thanks! Most modeling is trending on the drier side for the weekend system. Still not being handled well, so I don't have a lot of confidence. Probably a non-event though.

See the video for next week's system....we could be cold enough at precip onset for something aside from rain, but it is still a ways off.

Thanks so much for your kind words! I appreciate it, and I am glad we have this forum for interaction...
