Severe weather threat moving out

>> Wednesday, March 28, 2007

Earlier this evening, Rockingham County went under a severe thunderstorm warning, but now the threat of severe weather has ended around the viewing area. We will see cooler temperatures settling in along with some rain chances overnight through tomorrow morning. High temperatures tomorrow will be about 30 degrees cooler than our Wednesday highs!

"Severe weather threat moving out"
Do you feel that it ever "moved in?"

For at least the northern Triad region, yes the 'threat' of severe weather was real yesterday evening. Thankfully, not much materialized in our viewing area, but I direct your attention to all of the storm reports from just to our north.
