Chilly weather to return....

>> Tuesday, March 12, 2013

After a wet night, we will squeeze in one more mild day in the Piedmont before colder air arrives tonight into tomorrow. Highs tomorrow and Thursday will be a good bit below average.

Up in the mountains, some snow showers look possible tomorrow and then again with a clipper Thursday night into Friday morning.

See full details on all of this in today's video...

Today and tomorrow mark the 20th anniversary of the Superstorm of '93. Truly an incredible weather event....anything from a blizzard in many locations, including the Deep South, to violent tornadoes in Florida.

The NC mountains were just crushed with snow with 33" in Boone and over 60"+ in the highest of elevations.

It is hard to believe that is has been 20 years since that incredible weather event.

Matt,
You mentioned briefly about snow chance for next week yesterday, but is that possibility still on or is it pretty much gone?

Doesn't look likely at the moment....
