Active storm track this week...

>> Monday, December 31, 2012

Quiet weather today as we end 2012, but the first system to affect us this week will move in tomorrow. That system will provide us with some chilly rain at times for New Year's Day with highs in the 40s in many spots. Rain amount look to be under a half inch for most places.

The next system will likely spread some chilly rain in Thursday. Although I can't totally rule out a little bit of wintry precip on the northern fringe of the system, I am not overly impressed at the moment.

A third potential system could move through Friday night or Saturday morning. The -0z GFS did not have the system, while it was there on the European (very weak overall) as well as the UKMET (stronger).
