Nice weather through the weekend....

Lots of sunshine for us through the holiday weekend. However, the pattern gets very unsettled beginning next week, and December still looks very interesting. Give today's video a look....

I hope we some ice or snow or something!!!! It seems like it's been sooooo long since we've had snow in December!!!!! I've been looking at the models and ever since the 8th came in it just looked like that might be the one! Let's hope!!! I hope your family had a great Thanksgiving yesterday!

What model run are you looking at with the cold air coming in and precip. around the 10th?

Nice blog and very good discussion Matthew. I agree with you, our December is definitely not looking boring unlike the last few. The pattern the last couple of months around this part of the Carolinas has been intriguingly different...guess its time for payback from all the boredom. Anyway, I look forward to hearing more from your blog.

Thanks...we did have a great Thanksgiving. I hope you did as well.

The model I showed for the bulk of today's video was the 0z parallel run of the GFS.

Robert....thanks for stopping by! I appreciate your kind words. I think you are right....we had a long stretch of primarily tranquil weather...seems like that has drastically changed in 2009. Let's hope that means good things this winter!

I appreciate it, and your input and knowledge is more than welcome anytime.
