Weather changes coming again...

Above is today's edition of the Carolina Weather Video.

Wow...what a fantastic day around the Carolinas yesterday. Today, we will even be a bit warmer in most spots with highs in the lower 70s for most. However, clouds are on the increase, and some showers will be possible later this afternoon and early this evening. A few rumbles of thunder are possible, but severe weather should not be an issue.

Cooler weather will settle in by tomorrow with highs only in the mid to upper 50s with sunshine through high clouds for our Friday.

For those that have already put plants in the ground, you will likely need to take precautions to protect them both Friday night and Saturday night with lows Saturday and Sunday morning near or just below freezing in many spots.

Temps will moderate next work week, and our next rain chances arrives by the middle part of the week.

NCAA Tournament begins today, including games in Greensboro. Very excited to see how my Bulldogs can do against Washington this afternoon. It is a long trip (all the way to Portland), and we played four games last Thursday through Sunday. However, I think we have a chance, and I am excited to watch. For those interested, the MSU-Washington game will be on at 4:45pm today on the CBS College Sports channel.

Love the tournament. And the first rounds always seem to be the best. Enjoy!

Matthew,
couple days ago, someone mentioned about snow event possibility late next week... do you by chance see that at all?

No, I do not see any significant snow chances at this time.
